Offline services of Google

As many will have found out, Google Reader has this funky little new addition called 'offline mode'. For me, it's a god-send as it's impossible to justify paying internet cafe fees all the time. I've been wondering where else it'll work however and genuinely hoping that they'll expand it to their other services. I'm a regular user of all Google's offerings (calendar, Gmail, Earth, bookmark, notepad, etc.) so hopefully they start expanding what the offline mode works with.

but I've noticed some interesting quirks with their other offerings. they already partly work offline already. So long as I open the specific webpages for Google Calendar and Picassa, I seem to have access to most of the functionality! Awesome. Unfortunately, I can't make any changes yet (it's not that advanced), but even being able to work around the pages while not online is a beginning for me, and actually quite useful as it means I can take out details of what's going on and details regarding photos I've uploaded.

In short, what would people like Google to start offering in full offline mode? And does anyone else use the service?
